Ella is from Brooklyn, New York, and is a double major in American Studies and Rhetoric. Ella enjoys long walks, taking pictures, good smells, seltzer-so-carbonated-it-scratches-your-throat, the color red, rearranging her room, well-curated playlists, and jeans that fit well. Her shoe size is 6 and she is also on the Bates Squash Team. Here at Snaggletooth Ella manages the visual side of things, creating graphics for events, web-design, as well as magazine layout! <3

Audrey is a sophomore from Cranford, New Jersey, pursuing a major in Arts and Visual Culture. They love painting and collaging, listening to old music, and making sunny-side-up eggs. Ask them about their love of farm animals, or their spiritual connection to George Harrison.

Julia is an environmental science major & rain lover from the high desserts in UT. She's a fan of a good mythical creature and the real ones too. If it's a windy day she might be at the giant steps with a few friends hand in hand. She loves warm drinks and warm hugs for the nibbles of Maine winter.

Jane Dodge is a senior from Winchester, MA majoring in English. She loves to run, ski, rock climb, draw, read, write, and travel! She also loves coffee and dogs. She hates: green bananas, trying on clothes, burnt toast, and wool turtlenecks. Her shoe size is 8.5. :)

Milo Gold is from Brooklyn, New York and enjoys making and listening to music, taking pictures and frisbee. He aspires to one day make and listen to more music, take more pictures and play even more frisbee. He has a radio show with his two friends and is a visual contributer and visual editor.

Kiren is a freshman from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Her major is undecided, but she’s a humanities type of pre-med. Kiren loves a good accessory of any kind and her bag will always have lipstick, a digital camera, and probably some narcan. Even though it’s nearly impossible for her to ever finish a drink, you can often find her at the Ronj.

Abigail Sellnow is a freshman from Upstate NY & is a member of the swim team!! She loves iced chai with cinnamon, reading, and picking out outfits to procrastinate. You can probably find her with her friends or on Pinterest wishing she had unlimited money!

Liya is a junior from Durham, Connecticut. She is majoring in English and she worked as a stablehand through high school, so she has a special affinity for nature, the outdoors, and birds. She loves creative writing, especially poetry, and will gladly talk your ear off if given the opportunity.

Caroline McCarthy is a sophomore from Hamden, Connecticut majoring in English. She spends her time growing veggies and herbs in her garden, baking with measurements from the heart, and doing crossword puzzles. She is a frequent patron of Le Ronj where you can typically find her talking a little too loudly with her friends.

Audrey is a sophomore from Minneapolis, Minnesota, majoring in English. She dreams of horses and summers in northern Minnesota, learns about herself through fictional characters, and suffers through cans of sparkling water to maintain her moral high ground. She writes on occasion (when the wind is just right).

Colin is a freshman from Ocean City, Maryland, planning to major in English. He likes elaborately patterned sweaters, submitting assignments at the last possible second, and trying to convince people to watch Paddington 2. One of his teeth is fake and he'll give you five bucks if you correctly guess which one.

Emma is a freshman from Burlington, Vermont, leaning towards a double major in biochemistry and English. She loves binging films to put on her Letterboxd, long walks on the beach, diet coke and is currently trying to teach herself how to crochet a balaclava (she probably will not finish it and end up knitting another scarf). Emma also co-manages the Snag social media.

Kennedy Mathis is a first year from Brooklyn, New York. She enjoys taking photos, reading a good book, and spending time with friends. When she’s not doing those things you may find her doing varying sizes of crossword puzzles.

Talia Skaistis is a junior Creative Writing major who calls both New York City and Austin home. She enjoys blackout poetry, playing Adrianne Lenker songs on guitar, and swimming long distances in lakes. She wants to learn how to drive this year!

Leslie is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois, leaning towards a Politics major and French minor. She likes Brokeback Mountain and other masochistic films. She is also a big fan of the National Museum of Mexican Art. You can find her whipping around in Riley’s Jeep. beep beep!!

Keira is a junior from Maplewood, New Jersey majoring in History. When she’s not doing Snaggletooth-related things, she likes to knit and craft. She also plays piano-- she’s been on a Debussy kick. Her go-to midnight snack varies, but she always likes cookies.

I'm a Freshman from NJ! I'm planning to major in Environmental Studies and minor in Education. I LOVE knitting and watercoloring and and anything cozy. I help out with the snag social media!!

Clem is from Brooklyn and enjoys a solid everything bagel and kicking the ball around with friends. Her favorite TV show is Psych and she aspires to be a crazy good drummer or maybe learn how to play basketball.

Charlotte is from Richmond, Virginia, and she intends to double major in Gender and Sexuality Studies and History. She enjoys going on walks in the snow, crocheting, soft sweaters, getting into a bed with clean sheets, and Commons desserts. Charlotte co-manages the Snaggletooth social media.

Simon is a sophomore from San Francisco, California. He likes to swim in the ocean, read lots of books, and dribble with the boys.

Gail is a first-year from Rockport, Maine. She loves spending time by the ocean and in the woods. Gail also enjoys hot cocoa, ginger tea, fantasy novels, swimming in lakes, and writing.

Lily Ritch is a Junior! She likes to party and write poetry. Snaggletooth is the club she is most eager for folks on and off campus to come across. She wants YOU to submit to the next issue!

Lucia is a senior from Cranford, New Jersey, majoring in English. She writes letters like they’re going out of style. Cartoons, breakfast potatoes, cows, jazz and berries bring her great joy, as do her friends. When she’s not reading or talking too loudly over tea, she likes to wander speedily through cities or climb tall mountains.

Mimi is a first year from Provincetown, Massachusetts, and hopes to graduate with an interdisciplinary major focused on art, anthropology, and climate justice. She likes dance parties, dragons, and wearing patterned clothing. You might her frolicking in nature or attending literally any Bates affiliated Club meeting. During her lifetime, she hopes to travel everywhere, meet everyone, and try everything at least once.

Janie Phillips is a first year from Portland, Oregon. She likes skiing, london fogs, a good eBay steal, and laborious art projects. Her favorite geological period is the Devonian Period and she strongly dislikes peanut butter. Ask her about her fear of mountain biking or love for Mary Oliver!
