Begin reading through written and visual slush(s) and start voting process through google forms
11/19 Sunday
ALL VOTING IS COMPLETED
Acceptance emails are sent to authors/creators
Writing editors will be assigned pieces to edit over break
editing includes writing comments/suggestions on google doc, workshopping if necessary
Layout team will begin to compile a table of contents & page count
11/27 EDITING WORKSHOP
Editing workshop runs from 6-8PM & will be in Commons 221/222. Mandatory for any/all editors to drop in when they can.
authors of pieces being workshopped have a chance to work with their editor in-person
11/29 Wednesday - next meeting
DEADLINE FOR ALL EDITS ON WRITTEN PIECES.
Written submissions are proofread by senior editors, added to final slush for layout team with titles & authors
Layout team begins InDesign process
12/5 LAYOUT COMPLETE
DEADLINE FOR LAYOUT TEAM TO COMPLETE FINAL DRAFT.
Senior editors & contributors proofread for corrections
Send to printing company after confirmation
12/10 RELEASE PARTY IN THE RONJ
ISSUE 11 RELEASE PARTY IN THUNDERDOME, ~6-8PM
Issue 11 contributors read their poetry/prose in open mic style
Print issues available for Snaggletooth Magazine Issue 11, MOSH!, & other zines
There will be food and stuff. It will be awesome.
